Vape Shop Near Boise Airport (BOI) — 8 Minutes from the Terminal
If you flew in to Boise and need to grab a disposable, or you're heading out tomorrow morning and want to stock up the night before, Stormy Vape is roughly 8 minutes from the BOI terminal — straight up Vista Ave from Airport Way. Way better selection than the gas-station option on the way back to your rental or hotel, and we card every customer at the door so the line moves.
Driving directions from BOI
The route from arrivals/departures to our front door is mostly two streets and one freeway crossover — short and obvious.
- From the BOI terminal, exit on Airport Way heading north (toward the city — most rental returns put you back on Airport Way automatically).
- Turn right (north) onto Vista Ave — Vista is the big arterial that runs north out of the airport area.
- Turn left (west) onto Overland Rd. You'll cross under I-84.
- Turn right (north) onto Cole Rd.
- Right onto Franklin Rd, then a quick left onto N Milwaukee St. We're on the left.
About 3 miles total. Pre-rush hour: 7–8 minutes. After 4:30 PM weekdays, give yourself 12. Quicker alternative if you know the area: from Airport Way, jump on I-84 westbound for one exit (Cole/Overland), then follow steps 4 onward.
Why airport-area travelers stop in
- Stock up before a flight, not after landing somewhere it's hard to find. Some destinations make adult nicotine products hard to source — especially internationally. If you know your destination is dry territory for vapes, grabbing extras here is a smart move. (Always check your destination country's import rules. Many ban nicotine vapes outright — Australia, Singapore, Thailand, India, others.)
- Refillable pods travel cleaner than disposables. Disposables count as a lithium-battery device under FAA rules — must go in carry-on, never checked. A refillable pod (Vaporesso XROS, Geek Bar Mate, etc.) plus a small bottle of juice (under 100 ml) is the cleanest way through TSA: smaller battery, replaceable, no big slab of plastic in your carry-on.
- Pouches for the flight itself. You can't vape on a plane. Zyn or Velo handles a 4-hour flight in airplane mode. Full pouch wall every flavor and strength — grab a tin or two for the trip.
- Open until 10 PM every night. Late arrivals and last-minute pre-flight runs both work. Closer to the terminal than driving to Towne Square or Eagle Rd.
FAA quick reference: vape devices, e-cigarettes, and spare lithium batteries must travel in your carry-on bag, not checked luggage. E-liquid in carry-on follows the 3-1-1 rule (≤100 ml / 3.4 oz containers, all in one quart bag). TSA doesn't restrict nicotine itself. International rules vary — check your destination before you fly.
